Your claim starts processing only after your direct debit mandate is active. These are two separate steps: first, your mandate must be authorized and activated, then we begin working with the airline on your behalf.
No, unless it is a group ticket. Claims may only be submitted by the actual passenger, except where the ticket is part of a group booking, the submitter is a member of that group, and all passengers are on the same flight and PNR. In such cases, the group lead may submit the claim on behalf of the team.
